What we have to offer

Owl Party and Event Visit

Please note we DO NOT have a Falconry centre so you cannot come to visit us!

So we come to your location and show you a number of our Owls and give an informative talk about each Owl. This includes details about the specific bird, its habitat, and suggestions about improving our countryside for these magnificent birds. We have Fridge Magnets and Keyrings as souvenir items to purchase. A party lasts approximately 1 to 1½ hours (excluding set-up time).
Owl Party £150, plus expences Event fees depend on duration see below.

NB We limit travel time to approximately 1 hour from our location (Bristol) for the safety and comfort of our birds

Presentations to Schools or Groups

(All School presentations are aligned with requirements of the National Curriculum)

'Show and Tell' presentations Last approximately one hour or so and are tailored to your timetable. This may be in a hall or classroom. Sadly, my Barn Owl Loki has been retired due to a medical condition, so no flight demonstrations are possible at present. If we bring Midnight, our large Owl, we must be in a hall. I use a PowerPoint presentation in the background so all present can see the wonders of Owls, and a commentary is given about the birds, their specialities, habitat and conservation. If in a Classroom, I only bring my smaller bird where the children can get closer. I bring visual aids to all groups to improve understanding where perhaps English is not the child's first language. Before each presentation, the teacher is sent a large number of Bird of Prey and Owl images, information and things to make or to be used by their class. I have prepared Powerpoint presentations of Owl Babies, The Owl and Pussy Cat and The Owl, who was afraid of the Dark, to use interactively with the owls. Content is given at an appropriate level for the audience with detail as required by the teachers.
